The Assyrian Chaldean Athletics of North America (ACANA) Inc. is an Independent National Athletic Association in North America.

ACANA is a non-profit organization, established and run by volunteers. Its main purpose and objective is to serve the ChaldoAssyrian athlete/team in North America.

We, the ChaldoAssyrian athletes of the United States and Canada, fully realizing our responsibility to our community, to our State, and to our Nation, associate ourselves for the following purposes:

To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and Canada; to safeguard the principles of freedom, liberty and justice for all; to promote the cause of peace and good will among nations; to assist all people, especially the ChaldoAssyrians all over the world; to preserve and promote sports and to dedicate ourselves to the cause of mutual assistance, this by the grace of God.

On April 2, 2004, eight (8) soccer teams with its respective representatives; a team official, a manager, or a coach held a meeting in San Diego, California, where by a proposition, the attended team representatives agreed in principle to form a new Independent National Athletic Association in North America.

This association shall consist of every ChaldoAssyrian team and athlete of all sports from all various parts of North America including the United States and Canada. The name of this association shall be called the Assyrian Chaldean Athletics of North America (ACANA).
