Soccer Tournament

Currently these are the teams that have indicated an interest in participating;

Detroit Chaldeans
San Diego Chaldeans FC
San Diego St. Michaels FC
Nineveh Star SC (Toronto, Canada)
Las Vegas Eagles
Las Vegas Souraya (New Team to Participate)

Tournament Rules:

Teams are eligible to dress 4 non "ChaldoAssyrianSyriac" players on their team at any time.
All teams to pay a tournament fee of $250 as part of the registration.
Las Vegas Strip hotel rooms are being finalized at a special tournament rate for team reservations. More info to a follow.
Friday tournament meeting will be held at a disclosed location for draw and review of tournament rules.
The tournament will involve a preliminary round on Saturday the 4th and the finals on Sunday the 5th.
Trophies and Medallions will be handed out to the first and second place teams.
Festivities finally will be a Party hosted by the Assyrian American Society of Las Vegas where the trophies and medallions will be handed out.

To celebrate our New Year 6759 Kha Bnissan Akitu, the Assyrian Chaldean Athletics of North America (ACANA) through one of its member team (Las Vegas Assyrian Eagles) and with support from the local club the Assyrian American Society of Las Vegas, is organizing a soccer tournament on April 4-5/2009.
